The circular track is approximately 50 yards in diameter.
Game time consist of three 20 minute periods with 2 minutes rest between the periods.
Each team competes with ten players, three motorbikes and seven skaters (of the seven, there are 5 skaters and 2 catchers)
The controller will test his computerized equipment by firing a test ball before the game will be begin.
There is one cannon, balls are fired in the opposite direction of the way the skaters are moving and the balls are used for scoring points.
Following the cannon shot, the catches of each team try to get the ball first before the other team has a chance for the ball. The ball is then handed off to a skater.
Rollerball Skater Showing the Ball
After the skater receives the ball from the catcher, he must show the ball in the air and present it so the other team know who has the ball at all times. The skater's object is to score the ball in the goal.
The team without the ball must defend two different goals on the same track until the ball is on the ground or release without obtaining a goal.
Teams score by throwing or placing the ball into the goal, a small, conical, magnetic hole on the outer edge of the track. Jonathan E had his own special explosive technique of jamming the ball into the goal.
After you Score the Goal
After you struggle your way around the track and still have enough power and energy to score, please look around and watch your back as the opponents are still coming to get you!
After a Non-Score
After each non-score, the Controller will reset and fire the cannon to begin the game again.
The referees watch the action, if a player does something illegal, they spend 3 minutes in the penalty box.
Guys like "Moonpie" shown here, block for Jonathan E on offense and continue on defense as the team hatchet man.
